1. Start Excel. Open the e05B_Grades and Save it in as
StudentNumber_Lastname_Firstname _e5B_Test_Scores
2. Insert five empty rows above row 1 and change the page orientation to Landscape. In cell
A1 type Test Scores Merge & Center across E1 and format with Title cell style.
3. Insert a table and apply the Table Style Medium 12 to the range A5:E79. Name the resulting
table range Test_Scores
4. Filter the table and remove all rows that have Test Scores of 0.
5. Sort the table range A6:E79 (includes hidden ranges that were filtered out) by ID# smallest
to largest. Copy the range A6:E6 and paste in A2. Name the range A2:E3 Criteria
6. Copy the range A2:E2 and paste it in A82. Name the range A82:E82 Extract
7. Enter 17 in cell D3 as criteria. Extract the records using the following range names: list
range as Test_Scores criteria as Criteria and copy to as Extract Sort the range
A82:E91 in Alphabetical Order by Type.
8. Highlight the range A82:E91 and create a COUNT of the Test 2 scores using the Subtotal,
while adding subtotal to the Test 2 column in the Outline Group. Insert new row at column
82. In cell A82, type Placement Tests with a Score of 17 Merge & Center across E82
and apply a Heading 1 cell style. Adjust column widths.
9. Insert a footer with the file name in the left section and the current date in the right section.
Add the property tag/keyword Grades Return to normal view.
10. Save the file, print out from a printer and submit your worksheets electronically to file
upload. (Click the Choose File then Click Upload File).
